Jill of All Trades is ONE today!

That's right, boys and girls, my blog is ONE today!

I gotta say, I've surprised myself that I have been able to keep this up and going as long as I have. Blogging really isn't all that bad... in fact, I think I kinda like it. Might just have to keep this up for another year.

So to celebrate, I thought I would offer up a little Birthday Present from me to you!

The prize will be similar to the set below (earrings, bracelet, brooch and bobby pin, a $30+ dollar value) but will be COMPLETELY customized for YOU (unless you would prefer to just pick out items from my shoppe)! Take a look around my Etsy Shoppe to take a look at the type of work I do and you can get an idea of what I can make. I can do any color/combo.

Here's what you have to do to win.
1. Post a link on your blog about my blog's Birthday.
2. Leave a comment describing your BEST or WORST birthday memory.
(If you post on your blog you get 1 entry and if you leave a comment, you get 1 entry... so if you do BOTH, you will be entered twice, so DOUBLE your opprotunity to win!!!)

Winner will be chose at random by me on April 1st so you have one week to leave your comments!

Happy Birthday, Blog!!!

My best birthday memory was when I turned 16. I finally got to see what having friends were all about and just to be growing up. I was a freshman in highschool but I got a lot of love and support from all the kids at the school who barely knew me. I look around today at kids and school and groups, and clicks it's not the same and I am glad that I have a memory of being able to enjoy people and from all walks of life and I I met my husband that day even though we were not dating. It may sound corney but that is my most memorable b-day!

My last birthday I now won't forget though . . 30th, last Sunday . . . went to the zoo w/ my boys and Caleb fell down and busted his lip open and STILL has a huge knot on his head! :( I will even have 'school' pictures to remember it by! :(

I don't remember a specific birthday. I like things about lots of them. :)

I don't really have a best birthday memory - like Jen said, each has been special in its own little way.

But since you said, "or worst birthday memory..." I do have one of those, though I'm sure you've heard it before.

On my 30th birthday, I was 14 weeks pregnant with my second child. Two days later, I had a routine doctor's appointment at which I found out that the baby no longer had a heartbeat, and probably died two days before. So in retrospect, that was definitely my worst birthday.

My in-laws had said that they wanted to take me out for my birthday that weekend... but they decided to put it off until I was "up to it." As I waited 2 weeks before I had the D&C, and for a week or two afterward until we finally went out to dinner with them, my mother-in-law kept reminding me that they wanted to take me out for my birthday... I really hated that she brought it up all the time. My birthday was over and after the baby was gone I really didn't feel like celebrating it. But my MIL managed to drag my "birthday" out through the entire ordeal of losing my baby. Aren't MIL's great?!

Happy Blogaversary!!

So my best birthday memory was when I was about 11. My dad bought me my very first "tape" player. And he bought me a cassette. I don't remember if it was a whole album, but I remember it had "white lines" I loved it. Of course I had no idea what the song was really about, but all my b-boy cousins were breakdancing on our driveway! LMAO!

Happy blog b'day!!

On my 21st b'day I got engaged so I suppose I have to say that was the best present ever! Last year I got Coldplay tickets and I'm getting that again this year, so those are very close seconds! I'll post on my blog too!

I love all birthdays! I don't know that I have a favorite memory of one. But I enjoy celebrating other people's birthdays more than my own!
