Scrappin' Just for ME!

Okay, well, not exactly JUST for me, this was my DT layout for The Squeaky Page, my LSS. But, there was no challenge or anything, just me... sitting down with my paper and embellishments, creating a LO. Not much makes me happier!

Finally got my Stampin Up! order from Shanna and had to play with my new dies (the large butter flies and the top note die; both by Sizzix), so much fun!

I love this paper (can't remember who it's by though) and the colors went perfectly with these pictures of Goose. Sure, maybe I went a little overboard with the butterflies, but I can't get enough. Did I tell you I also bought all of Martha's butterfly punches too. Obsessed, I know!

This is actually the first thing I made from my new SU! stuff.


Just a little card for a friend, wanted to play aroud with my new stuff a bit. The stamp is from the SU! "Comfort Foods" set and it's absolutely adorable!

And now for something completely CRAFTY!

My MIL got this really awesome new toy called an Imagepac You can make your own acrylic stamps. She let me play with it last week when it came in and the first test stamp we did was to turn a picture of Goose into a stamp! How cool is this?

Note to self...

Never volunteer to make 60 baby shower invites. EVER AGAIN!

One of my friends is due at the end of July and I am throwing her baby shower next month. I decided (regrettably) to make the invitations instead of buy them. What a pain in my ass!! They turned out great. Except that I had the wrong time (it was the one I had told her, but I guess she couldn't get the space at that time and forgot to tell me it was changed.)

So, I had them finished and she came to pick them up on Sunday and discovered the time was wrong. So I had to redo the inside... 60 of them. Yes, I made 60 of these fuckers. I cried right in front of her. It was terrible. I was so relieved that they were done and come to find out they were wrong. I tried SO HARD not to cry in front of her, but I couldn't help it. Steve felt so bad that he helped me fix them!

That said though, they turned out pretty cute! If I didn't have to make 60 of them, I would have probably inked the crap out of them, and distressed them (you know me! ;) ) but I just didnt have the time. I also used a sizzix die for the buttons!
