Also on the list, I would like to learn how to knit and crochet (ya know... with needles).

Maybe I'll tackle embroidery.

I definitely want to learn how to and actually use my sewing machine

And I want to scrap. Again.

I've been so burned out on things... but I think I'm ready for some paper crafts again!

I've already learned one (felting) new craft in the year of TEN. So at least, if nothing else, I have already completed this resolution. HA!

ETA - And lets not forget this too!!! Another felted flower!

Felty go Crafty

I think I have found a new craft obsession... FELT! I love it. Its so easy to work with, sewing is so easy and cutting the shapes with my Cuttlebug (or even by hand) is a snap. I joined a felt swap on my board and here is what I came up with!

And my neutral group


I don't know how "neutral" a strawberry would be on a LO, but I still think they are cute. I used little black seed beads for the seeds. I also made an extra special one of each that may or may not be sold in my etsy store that may or may not ever open.

Um, yeah... about that...

I played with felt all night. It was wonderful and I went to bed a very satisfied lady.

I did made Hubs promise me he would help fold socks tonight with me. I seriously hate folding socks. I did all the rest of the damn laundry by. my. self.and if he thinks I'm folding all those socks, he's CRAZY!

So, we are going to put a movie in after Goose goes to bed and have a little sock folding party, everyone is invited, though I'm sure no one will come (I wouldn't. LOL)

Sounds like a blast! (please note the sarcasm dripping off those words... ha ha)

My dilemma...

Do I fold socks... YES... that is ALL socks (told you it was about 3 feet high) LOL!



Or do I play with the new felt I got. It was on sale at J's 6 for $0.96 so I bought way too much (yet still spent under $20, its a RECORD!)



First I need to eat dinner, Hubs brought home pizza. Then I will decide (my guess is the felt will win, I'm feeling creative tonight!)
