I Take Pictures

Got some outside time with Goose today while taking a break from packing.

I got some good practice in, using the manual function on my camera.

I am trying to get away from AUTO and perfect my "eye".

The sky, as seen from under a tree.

Azaleas in my garden.

Strawberries to be.

My Goose.

Marveling at a miniature leaf.

"It's so precious" she said.

The full moon through a crack in the curtains.

Okay, this wasn't from today, I took it the other night.

But I like it. And I wanted to share.

I did the photo editing in iPhoto and used Poladroid on a few.

Free "Polaroid" Fun

I found the coolest thing last night!

I used to use Rollip to convert my photos to the "Polaroid" look.

(Since I don't have Photoshop...) But they no longer offer that service...

:(

So... I googled. Yes, I googled.

And I found Poladroid.

Its a free, easy to use program you download onto your computer.

You just upload your JPEG file into the programs and it converts the pics for you.

It has a cute little Polaroid camera that "takes" the picture.

Then it "develops" right on your screen!

The image automatically saves the photo to your computer.

Its AWESOME!

Wardrobe Remix & A Discovery

I found this awesome site called Rollip. It converts your photos into Poloroids (for free!!!). You can also chose different designs and texts. It's a TON of fun to play around with, so don't be surprised if you see more of these nifty pics showing up on the blog. (Found thanks to cjane.)

This is my purple Walmart dress paired with hunter green tights. I know its hard to tell, but there is actually green in the plaid pattern of the dress. And topped that off with my Kmart boots. Hubs said I looked "funky... in a good way" and he humored me by taking the above pics for me. Oh, and the umbrella was an AWESOME vintage garage sale find.

PS - I do still intend to have the rest of our vacation pics posted on the blog tomorrow. A 5 day weekend leaves one with lots of catching up to do. Tomorrow, my dears!
