Unveiling my "Design Team"

Well, their sorta my design team. Basically I sent some Page charms to some scrapper friends and asked them to use them on a LO or card or really, in any way they wanted to show the different ways to use them. I've used them on some LO's before (here too) and right now I have one on my cell phone... they are very versitile!

Like Free Stuff?

Well, I have some free stuff for ya! How about a rad pair of earrings and a page charm from my shoppe? I liked these earrings so much when I made the original pair for my shoppe that I made a pair for me too, and I liked them so much, that I even made a third pair to give away on my blog!

Here is a close up of the earrings. They are totally swing-y and fun, very light-weight and have me in a beach combing mood. Hung on surgical steel earwires.

Etsy Update

I have all of these made and ready to go up in the shoppe, but I just haven't been able to get any good pictures of them yet. I haven't quite figured out the macro lense on my mom's camera and with the lack of good natural lighting (rain rain rain!) well, it's just not a good combo.

Anyway, thought I would just tease ya all a little bit.

PS - for those of your that agreed to give me a hand, your charms will be in the mail tonight! THANKS a MILLION!

New Layouts - Featuring Page Charms!

Here are some new layouts I worked on last night. I had lots of mojo but unfortunately not enough pictures and my printer is not cooperating. Hopefully I can get it working tonight because I really want to do more scrapping.

I did a couple of pages for Goose's birthday. I used a new line from Crate Paper, its the Samantha Collection. I love the soft colors and spring feel and thought they were perfect for these pictures.

This is the first one. Its of Goose's "cup" cake. We got a cupcake cake instead of a regular cake and had a cupcake bar for all the kids. I made a batch of plain cupcakes and set out bowls of toppings and frosting. It was a huge hit, the kids all loved it and were, surprisingly, able to keep the mess contained to the table.

This next one is Goose opening presents. Out of everything she got, her favorite "present" was a singing Dora card. We had to hide it from her because she didn't want to open any more presents.

Instructions
1. Bend open the loop on the eye pin. Do not pull it apart to open, bend the loop to the side. If you do it the other way you will damage the loop and it may break. (same goes for jumprings) Add your charm and close the loop. I like to use my flat nose pliars for this.
step one

2. Choose 3-5 (or less/more, its up to you) beads and thread them onto the pin. Trim excess wire. You will need about 1/4in to make a loop.
step 2

3. Using your round nose pliars, bend the end of your pin into a loop. Do not close completely.
step three

4. Add clasp. You may use a jump ring instead of a clasp. Close the loop on the pin.

5. Add coordinating ribbon to the charm for a more finished look.

Use your charms to adorn pages or as an accent on an altered notebook. They would also be cute hanging from the handle of an altered paint can. Attach them to your page by looping through ribbon or clipping them to a metal embellishment. They can also be added to key chains or zippers.
