Super Fantastic

I love my online friends.

Especially those who stuck by me during all the madness that went down this summer.  Thank you thank you for being there and understanding and being compassionate wonderful people!

You are each getting a pair of these earrings. They are made of coconut shell and have a dainty solitary black pearl. I made a pair for me so we all match. And every time I wear them, I will think of all of you!

PS - Ms. Froggy, send me an email with your addy! You "won" my little contest the other night and I would like to send you a pair of earrings! Thanks!

Used my ticket punch again to make the smaller ones and the larger ones are from the 2Peas kit I used before. I also used a bunch of stamps, a fact that I am particularly proud of, seeing as how I never use stamps... I just buy them and hoard them! Oh yeah, and the butterflies are Martha Stewart punches. And I also used a ton (and a half) of Stickles.

PS - I haven't decided if I am going to use all of these for the swap so keep an eye out in my Etsy shoppe, some of the extras may end up there!

Tickets & Cherries & Cupcakes (and Chipboard), OH MY!

I've been working on a whole mess (literally) of swap stuff this week. I feel way on the ball (its a new feeling) because none of them are due until June. Score one for me! I'm never early. At anything. On time, sure... late, probably (especially if Hubs has anything to do with it) but never early.

Anyway, rather than talk (or is it type? Whatever, my fingers are tired anyway...) I'll just show you what I've made!

First the tickets, these first ones are made with a Marvy(?) punch and a lil birdie stamp.
Photobucket

Did I mention I love digi/hybrid scrapping? Here are some tickets from a 2Peas kit.
I added some foam and flowers to sass them up a bit!
Photobucket

These aren't really a ticket, but they are digi from 2peas. It's an element from the Sillhouttes for Nie kit.
Photobucket

I'm totally in love with these tiny cherry journaling spots! They are about an inch across, just big enough to write a date or little something. These were made with a Quickutz die.
Photobucket

Who doesn't love cupcakes? Especially when they are made with beautiful vintage sheet music and GLITTER!?! I "lifted" this idea from a cute blog I found recently, Tutu's&GlueDots. I used a Cuttlekids die and some bling from Lacey to top them off!
Photobucket

And here are some chipboard travel tags I made. Also from a 2peas digi kit. Printed out my images and then attached them to chipboard. I tied them together, but they don't have used that way, just meant to be a set. I figured since there were only 4 of us in that group, I would make extra stuff!

Hybrid Tags

I'm kinda bummed about Scrap Idol so I haven't really been in the mood to do any LO's but I was still in the mood to craft. So I've kept myself busy working on swaps.

I printed up some digi stuff and made a bunch of hybrid tags and what not for some swaps that I am part of. Now, I'm all caught up until May... until I join more swaps... which I enevitable will. LOL!

These CUTE little gems are by Kitchy Digitals, from the Woodland Booklovers kit and the Woodland Die Cuts kit.

Some other tags made from kits from 2Peas. (Valentine Checklist, Sketchy Labels by Erica Hernandez and Bella Journaling Cards)

These next two are also from 2Peas. They are elements from the April 2007 free kit called Spring Fever (or something like that).

I love working with digi kits. Right now, I don't have Photoshop so all the work I do is done in Microsoft Publisher. Not the best, but hey, it works. Hybrid scrapping is a great way to add elements to your LO's that you can use again and again. There are so many options when it comes to digital scrapbooking and I love being able to combine that with my paper scrapping.

All of the digital elements I used can be purchased (some are FREE!) from 2Peas.

Felty go Crafty

I think I have found a new craft obsession... FELT! I love it. Its so easy to work with, sewing is so easy and cutting the shapes with my Cuttlebug (or even by hand) is a snap. I joined a felt swap on my board and here is what I came up with!

For my Girl group

For my Boy group

And my neutral group

I don't know how "neutral" a strawberry would be on a LO, but I still think they are cute. I used little black seed beads for the seeds. I also made an extra special one of each that may or may not be sold in my etsy store that may or may not ever open.

July SMS

SMS = Same Material Swap

There are groups of 5 people (I signed up for girl, neutral and anything goes)and each month, one person sends a page kit to each of the people in their group. Then, those 5 people each do a LO using the same materials.

Katrina supplied all three of the kits for this month. I am so excited, I get to pick out the materials for next month! Fun fun fun!

Girl:
Me and the Hubs many many years ago (we were 17 in this pic I think)

Neutral:
Gotta love the in-laws!

Anything goes:
These materials were my favoties! This LO was a scraplift of Angel.

Recipe Swap

I hosted a kids craft recipe swap a while back. Each person had to make 2 different 6x6 recipe cards for different kids crafts. Here are the two that I made.

Silhouette Frame

I got this idea from Danielle Thompson. I love her blog, the ephemera and all of the brightly colored photos. She takes some amazing pics and her photo editing is AWESOME! Anyway, I used her idea of turning your childs photo into a nice piece of artwork. This was done for a swap, so no, it's not Goose. The hubby loved how it turned out though and now he wants me to do one of Goose for our house!

Swap Tags

Photobucket I just thought I would share my swap tags for a definition swap. I really love how my girly tags turned out, very flashy but still not over the top, I hope. Can ya tell I've been addicted to my edge paper lately? Ha ha ha. I think out of the last 3 or so swaps I have been in, I have done some sort of fancy edged something or other. Anyway, the pics...
